Egypt has resumed book fairs activities after an interruption of about six months due to the Corona pandemic, with the opening of the Alexandria exhibition organized by the Egyptian General Book Authority with the participation of 95 local publishers.
 
The authority, which is the state's official publisher, shares about 500 book titles from its publications, ranging from poetry, story, novel, and children's books.
 
The exhibition, which is held on an area of 4,200 square meters, in the land of Kouta in the Azarita area in the Alexandria governorate, will continue until the tenth of October, with the participation of major Egyptian publishing houses such as Al-Masria Al-Lebanese, Al-Shorouq, Dar Al-Ma'arif, Renaissance Egypt and Madbouly, in addition to the National Center for Translation and Al-Ahram newspaper.
