Disney and UNIQLO came together to create the Disney Princesses and Villains womenswear collection, which offers a modern take on animated icons. A still from Disney's Cinderella, which was released in 1950, is shown in a popular format on social media that shows a depiction of expectation versus reality, on one side, the short-sleeve graphic t-shirt shows Cinderella's foot fitting perfectly into the glass slipper, while the other shows one of her step-sisters struggling to do the same.

On oversized silhouettes, there are graphics that capture comical looks from Disney princesses, humorous sayings and other meme-inspired graphics that refresh Disney's timeless content for audiences today. Across the collection, there are references to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid and more.
