In partnership between Dubai Design District and the Arab Fashion Council, the Women’s Fashion Week will kick off on October 10, which will present haute couture shows for fall-winter 2022-2023 and ready-to-wear for spring-summer 2023, with the participation of more than 35 fashion designers from around the world, consolidating Dubai’s position A global hub for major companies and talent in the field of fashion and design.

It is true that the Arab Fashion Week has become an integral part of the global fashion agenda, but this edition is considered the largest since the launch of the event, as the events will last for six days and will include an integrated agenda of fashion shows and international cooperation, which is the first of its kind.

The Fashion Week will kick off with an exceptionally organized event in honor of the international fashion icon “Barbie” who won the Fashion Icon Award for the year 2021. of this type, after launching similar partnerships with the Balmain and Moschino brands.

For his part, Serge Carrera, the official in charge of the emerging brands initiative in the Federation of High Fashion and Fashion, stated that the existing cooperation with the Arab Fashion Council still exists, and each party has the ability to build solid relationships.

The Giving Movement, the Emirati brand that will showcase its new sustainable fashion collection, will participate in the event for the first time.

The participants represent 23 countries, including: UAE, Mexico, Thailand, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Jordan, Turkey...

These events will be broadcast on live screens distributed throughout the Dubai Design District, and will also be broadcast on the social networking sites of the Arab Fashion Week and the Arab Fashion Council.
