Marilyn Monroe was the inspiration for his coats, and she could have made a beach towel look like a million bucks, but Kors adopted reversible cashmere and faux fur. The shoulders were a major area of excitement under these coats, and the backcuts and one-sleeve dresses shifted from sequined jersey. Obviously, Kors has dinner dates and nights in the theater.
