The Lebanese Visual Art Association - LVAA announced the selection of Danielle Arbid, film director, documentary filmmaker and plastic artist Ayman Baalbaki to represent Lebanon at the 59th International Exhibition of Contemporary Art - Venice Biennale, which will be held from April 23 to November 27, 2022. This is within the Lebanese pavilion organized by the association under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture in Lebanon.
 
It is noteworthy that Lebanon returns to the International Exhibition of Contemporary Art - Venice Biennale for the second time in its history after an absence of five years, to be present in Arsenal, one of the two main historical landmarks in the Venice Biennale, to shed light on contemporary Lebanese artworks that allow Lebanon to shine around the world from Through art and culture.
