In cooperation with Agial Gallery, Vanessa Gemayel holds her exhibition entitled “The Red City and Lace Nights”, which started yesterday, September 9, and will continue until October 2, 2021.

Vanessa's work is characterized by houses shaking, roofs swelling and entering swirls of ultra-blue, red, and deep green.

As for the sky, it's a heavy blanket, the sun a lime target turning orange, the scythe moon mowing through the Milky Way, the light like an explosion. You can't help but think of Van Gogh's sky and the "starry night."

According to Vanessa, “If homes were boats, rooftops would be sailing.”
