The Batroun International Festival Summer 2021 activities were launched last Friday, July 16th. It presents us this year  a new look and a rich program with its distinguished cultural and artistic activities that meet all desires and attract tourists and Lebanese from different regions.

 

The festival, which will be held every weekend and will continue until September 5, includes a diverse program. The launch this year was special and exceptional with the local beer, wine and seafood festival, which succeeded in attracting visitors from different towns and tourists.

 

The festival will also include a craft exhibition in which the Batroun artisans will present their most beautiful works and distinctive craft productions, including jewelry, ornaments, clothes and others.

 

To add an artistic atmosphere to the events, an exhibition of photographs by photographer Fares El-Gamal will be held, which will display a unique collection of photographs of the city of Batroun, its landmarks and historical figures. A group of painters will also participate in the exhibition, who will display a range of their works and drawings, and will draw distinctive paintings directly in front of the visitors.

 

Among the special activities that will be held during the festival, is the launch of the largest SUP festival in the Middle East. As usual, the season concludes with the annual Film Festival, which attracts cinema lovers, artistic and intellectual personalities.

 

This festival aims to revitalize the region in terms of tourism and culture, and to encourage domestic tourism to it in light of the harsh economic conditions that Lebanon is experiencing; And because Batroun is the destination that visitors love because of the distinctive atmosphere it provides, which is evident in its streets, markets, heritage sites, beach and bustling nightlife.
