According to Guinness, Saudi Arabia managed to break the record by using 9,610 greeting cards, in a celebration held at Al-Andalus Mall, in the western city of Jeddah.
The complex invited people to share their congratulations on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, by writing their wishes on greeting cards that were collected together to form this achievement.
And the local Al-Madina newspaper shared photos showing the encyclopedia's certificate in recognition of the Saudi achievement.
According to the newspaper, this work achieves two achievements, the first is entering the world encyclopedia of records, and the other was making the visitors be the participants themselves in achieving this achievement.
Greeting cards appeared lined up next to each other, to form the phrase "Happy New Year from Andalus Mall".
