The European company "Airbus" announced that it is working on developing hybrid propulsion engines as one of the options to reduce aircraft emissions in the future, according to "Reuters".
 
It previously revealed that hydrogen is the preferred source of energy for future aircraft, and pledged to deliver the first commercial aircraft running on hydrogen in 2035, but authorized working on potential hybrid electrical alternatives in the future.
