This season, the Istanbul-based designer Bunyamin Aydin took a trip down the Silk Road, an ancient trade network that connected East Asia and Southeast Asia with East Africa, West Asia and Southern Europe and where silk, goods and cultures were exchanged. Hailing from a Turkish family known for its fine textiles, and with an upbringing surrounded by fabrics, designs and samples he was particularly well-equipped for the journey.

The color palette was a harmonious mix of tangerine, terracotta, henna red, sandy gold and oceania in an effort to invoke the different colors found in the trade routes.
