Contemporary British painter Sasha Jefri has officially set a Guinness World Record for "the largest painting in the world" through "The Journey of Humanity".

Since March, on an area of more than 17,000 square feet, the Dubai-based artist has worked on the painting at the five-star Atlantis The Palm in Dubai.
It took seven months to complete, 20 hours a day. Use 1,065 paintbrushes and 6,300 liters of paint to create the artwork.

The project has achieved a global reach of more than 2.5 billion people around the world.
