By the end of 2021, Scotland is set to have its first train that runs on hydrogen power, thanks to a new project from the Scottish government and a group of engineering companies that specialize in the development of hydrogen fuel cells. Though the initiative has just been announced, it’s expected that the train will be ready in only 10 months.
At Leila Heller Gallery in Dubai, Indian contemporary artist Manish Nai invites viewers to reconsider the materials that surround them. In In Search of Material within Material, a solo exhibition bringing together works created between 2021 and 2026, discarded objects, industrial surfaces and familiar everyday materials become the starting point for an exploration of form, memory and transformation.
