Morocco is to ban flights to and from the UK, prompting the British Foreign Office to advise against all but essential travel to the country.
The spread of coronavirus throughout Europe and the world has forced governments to impose stringent rules at their borders, including quarantines and health screenings. Some, meanwhile, have banned entry altogether.
The north African nation at the weekend imposed restrictions on travellers from some 30 countries, including Spain, France and Italy, but excluded the UK.
Authorities have now said flights to and from the UK will be suspended as of 23:59 on March 16.
