Travelers to New York State can now enjoy an ice cream and other frozen desserts made with liquor. The measure approved by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo limits the percentage of alcohol in ice cream to not more than 5% by volume, but it means that craft manufacturers can get cracking on devising new and innovative products.

The new rules governing the sale of liquor-infused ice cream include that it can't be sold to anyone under 21, and the packaging has to be labeled with the warning statements, like other alcohol-infused products.
