Dubai Design Week is set to return to Dubai Design District (d3) from 3–8 November 2026, marking its 12th edition under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
One of the region’s leading design platforms, the festival is now inviting architects, designers, artists and creative practitioners from the region and beyond to submit proposals for its 2026 programme.
This year’s edition will explore design through a diverse programme spanning installations, exhibitions, workshops, activations and public-space interventions. Among the highlights is In Other Words, the 2026 edition of Abwab, which will examine how language, translation and communication influence visual, spatial and sonic design.
The Urban Commissions programme will return with Atmospheres, challenging designers to create pavilion-scale installations that explore the relationship between people, space and sensory experience. Meanwhile, the installations programme will focus on sustainable production, locally sourced materials and innovative approaches to public space.
The festival’s growing influence reflects Dubai’s expanding role as a regional hub for design and creative exchange. Its 2025 edition welcomed more than 135,000 visitors and over 1,000 designers, architects and creative practitioners from more than 50 countries.
With applications now open, Dubai Design Week 2026 is set to once again transform d3 into a meeting point for regional talent, international ideas and new conversations around the future of design.
