Dubai’s growing reputation as a global cultural destination continues to strengthen as Leila Heller Gallery unveils a new season of exhibitions bringing together powerful stories of identity, memory and transformation.

Located in Alserkal Avenue, one of the region’s most influential art districts, the gallery presents three exhibitions that explore how artists reinterpret history and culture through contemporary perspectives.

Saudi artist Sultan Bin Fahad’s The Blue Note looks at jazz as more than music—it becomes a language of spirituality, resilience and collective memory. Through paintings and intricate bead works, the artist connects the rhythms of jazz with themes of faith, heritage and cultural exchange.

Meanwhile, Syrian-Armenian artist Kevork Mourad presents The Echoes of Silent Bells, an emotional reflection on memory, displacement and the preservation of forgotten histories. Through layered drawings, installations and sculptural works, Mourad transforms personal and collective memories into immersive visual landscapes.

The gallery’s group exhibition, Between Memory and Imagination, expands this conversation by bringing together international artists exploring the relationship between past experiences and future possibilities. Across painting, sculpture, glass and mixed media, the exhibition examines how memories shape identity and belonging.

Founded in New York over four decades ago, Leila Heller Gallery has become known for creating connections between Middle Eastern artists and global audiences. Since opening its Dubai location in 2015, the gallery has played an important role in the city’s evolving art scene, presenting artists whose works bridge cultures and generations.
