Luxury cruising is no longer just about destinations — it’s about the journey itself. And with Aroya Cruises, Saudi Arabia’s first homegrown cruise line by Cruise Saudi, that journey has become a floating celebration of Saudi art, culture, and design.
Blending modern sophistication with authentic Arabian heritage, Aroya is transforming the cruise experience into something far beyond travel: an immersive cultural escape.
Designed by the renowned SMC Design, the ship spans 19 decks and houses 1,678 cabins and suites, welcoming over 3,300 guests. But what truly sets it apart is its soul — one deeply rooted in Saudi identity.
Every corner of the vessel tells a story.
From interiors inspired by the Red Sea’s coral blues and the golden dunes of Al Ahsa, to intricate Najdi and Hijazi patterns woven into walls, textiles, and furniture, the ship brings Saudi landscapes and traditions to life with remarkable subtlety and elegance.
The concept revolves around three key themes: nature, culture, and human connection.
Saudi Arabia’s diverse geography influences the color palettes and textures throughout the ship, while traditional craftsmanship, Arabic calligraphy, and regional architectural elements add layers of authenticity. At the same time, guest comfort remains central — with warm lighting, plush lounges, and thoughtfully designed spaces that feel both luxurious and intimate.
For travelers seeking exclusivity, Khuzama offers a premium elevated experience. This private section includes 145 suites and nine ultra-luxurious villas, including Royal and Presidential Villas, with personalized services and dedicated dining spaces.
But Aroya’s vision goes beyond architecture.
The ship is home to more than 2,600 commissioned artworks, with 65% created by Saudi artists. Guests can encounter handcrafted basketry, contemporary paintings, and digital installations throughout the vessel, turning every walk into an artistic journey.
One of the highlights is Irth, Aroya’s signature Saudi restaurant — a culinary tribute to the Kingdom’s five regions. Here, design and gastronomy merge through traditional materials like carved gypsum, woven palm details, and naturally dyed wool art.
For a completely different atmosphere, the Space Diner offers a playful retro-futuristic world inspired by 1950s American diners and space exploration. Featuring full-scale replica NASA Apollo 11 capsules, neon-lit interiors, and a starry fiber-optic ceiling, it’s where nostalgia meets innovation.
Currently sailing through Mediterranean gems like Bodrum, Marmaris, and Alexandria, Aroya proves that the destination is only half the story.
On board, Saudi creativity becomes the main attraction — making every sunset, every space, and every detail part of a larger cultural voyage.
With Aroya Cruises, luxury is no longer just seen. It’s felt, lived, and experienced.
