The Emirate of Dubai officially received the banner of organizing the General Conference of the International Council of Museums "ICOM 2025", within the conclusion of the participation of the official Emirati delegation in the largest international event of its kind held in the Czech capital Prague.

The flag was handed over to Engineer "Rashad Bukhash", who in turn handed it over to the Director General of Dubai Culture, "Hala Badri", who expressed her gratitude through the following phrases: "The UAE attaches great importance to museums as vital centers for knowledge exchange and cultural dialogue, and we believe that Culture should be accessible to everyone, wherever they are.

On this occasion, Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, said: "Dubai received the banner of organizing the General Conference of the International Council of Museums, and thus Dubai continues to achieve its vision and make more historical achievements after becoming the first city in the Middle East and North Africa. And South Asia hosts the General Conference of the International Council of Museums.

Her Highness added that winning the honor of hosting the International Council of Museums Conference is the result of the efforts of the wise leadership and its wise vision to enrich the cultural scene, enhance the creative and artistic display, and crown the work of cultural institutions in Dubai and the country over the past years, and Dubai looks forward to hosting this influential cultural event, which will meet under its umbrella. A constellation of international museum experts to discuss the future of museums in our changing societies and ways and options for heritage preservation.
