The fashion scene in Saudi Arabia has gone through a major transformation in recent years as many of its talented designers have found innovative ways to blend their art and culture.
 
For example, many pieces of Saudi fashion designer Mohammed Khoja, founder of contemporary luxury label Hindamme, are currently on display in two world-famous museums.
At the National Museum of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh, pieces from his final season, inspired by the Nabataean civilization of Al-Ula, are on display as part of the “Call and Texts” exhibition.
Last week, his "driving jacket", designed in 2018 to commemorate women being allowed to drive in the kingdom, was on display at London's Victoria and Albert Museum, becoming the first contemporary piece from a Saudi "creative" to feature in the museum's collection.
