Female-founded AI company Diligent Robotics creates robot assistants to help healthcare workers and its Moxie robot assistant is now being used to support the Kendra Cares program. The creative arts program by the fashion accessories brand Kendra Scott helps to bring the experience of the brand's Color Bar to pediatric hospitals across the country so that patients and their caregivers get to design their own customized jewelry at no cost.
Moxie the robot is being introduced to this program at a time when the in-person experience is going virtual. The robot assistant helps patients digital design their custom Color Bar pieces and delivers the finished products. Patients can choose colored stones and metal styles to create their piece of jewelry and the experience helps people get through tough times by providing an uplifting and comforting activity.
