LVMH, the luxury conglomerate that owns brands such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Givenchy, and many more, announced today that it will begin using some of its facilities to produce its own hand sanitizer in response to the shortage in France caused by the coronavirus epidemic. “LVMH will use the production lines of its perfume and cosmetic brands, to produce large quantities of hydroalcoholic gels from Monday,” LVMH said in a statement, and these gels will be delivered free of charge to the French health authorities.
Much of everyday life unfolds through patterns we rarely stop to notice — familiar roads, objects kept close, changing cityscapes and small gestures repeated until they become almost instinctive. These quiet rhythms take centre stage in Unseen Script, the latest group exhibition at Rizq Art Initiative on Reem Island, Abu Dhabi. Bringing together 10 artists from different backgrounds, the exhibition explores repetition, memory, nature and the ways people observe and interpret the world around them.
