The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) appointed renowned Lebanese designer Rami Kadi as the Regional Goodwill Ambassador for Sustainable Fashion in West Asia on Wednesday, and the program was launched earlier this year to propel the industry toward more sustainable practices.
 
The beloved celebrity fashion designer is expected to shed light on the harmful effects of the fashion industry on the environment, and to promote sustainable practices that can be adopted after the Coronavirus pandemic.
 
Some of the biggest names have worn from his designs, including Rita Ora, Jennifer Lopez, Jamila Jameel, and many more.
