This Pre-Fall 2020 collection pays homage to strong women of the 20th century, who have devoted their existence to pursuing a sense of freedom.

The designs are sculptural, modern, with gently romantic overtones. Built on a basis of slip dresses layered with tweed and elevated with bows, playing with transparency and superimpositions gives a bold twist to organic lines. Satin and taffeta compose evening or cocktail dresses in architectural volumes using a radiant set of hues.

Pleated linings drape the body in Empire cut gowns, adorn the neck and let the skin shimmer through lace inlays. Jumpsuits are fluid and come with a slit ; floral or skyscraper prints are reminiscent of Georgia O'Keefe’s and Tamara de Lempicka's paintings.Leather is given a python appearance ; velvet ensembles come with ruffled hemlines ; white monochrome suits are embellished with geometrical motifs that outline and elongate the body.

The colors include powdered pink, emerald green, mandarine orange, and electrical blue, heightened by silver threading – a naturalist palette enhanced by ultra-modern touches. Between a masterful classicism and rethought contemporaneity, the vision of Zuhair Murad relishes in a reinterpretation of past, yet never old-fashioned, codes.
