On Wednesday, the Arab Fashion Council (AFC) in partnership with Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM), the French foundation that coordinates Paris Fashion Week, launched the "Parisians in Dubai" initiative, a new initiative aimed at connecting members of designers the French at Paris Fashion Week by making Arab fashion and creating a bridge between the two fashion industries.
 
This is the first time that the Arab fashion world has received an official delegation from Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode in Dubai. Among the six participating French designers will be exhibiting their collections at the "Parisians in Dubai" showroom, the Parisians-based women's clothing brand, Boyarovskaya. Bluemarble, a menswear brand founded by Anthony Alvarez, Dawei fashion house bearing its name, and Mossi ethical wear brand.
 
The showroom, situated in Dubai’s Citywalk, is open by appointment to press and buyers until the Oct. 30.
