The island is an eco-friendly resort covered with green trees, located in the Gulf of Thailand in southern Cambodia.
The resort has 40 villas spread across the island with private pools, sun decks, and pure tropical water.
Guests are gathered from the arrivals hall at the airport and transported by speedboat to the island on a wonderful adventure, with staff lining up to greet and welcome guests.
The island has committed to be plastic free by 2022 - it even has a bottling plant that provides drinking water for guests to avoid plastic waste, the main building is covered in solar panels and most of the resort's products come from an organic farm on the mainland.
Each room is fully controlled by an iPad, and The Beach Retreat boasts impressive features with a large pool, outdoor bathtub and panoramic roof-to-ceiling windows to provide great visibility.
Part of the beach in the community is devoted to sunbathing, water sports and watching movies at the outdoor cinema. There are two restaurants serving classic Cambodian dishes, and you can also relax in the sauna or herbal steam tent.
Guests can make their own natural skin care products at the Alchemy Bar, or take a yoga class in the suite. Guests can also watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat, the largest religious building in the world.
