The Alfred Basbous Foundation in collaboration with Art Scoops presented a pictorial exhibition of abstraction.
The exhibition is dedicated to the works of the contemporary Lebanese artist in the twentieth century, Alfred Basbous. It started on the 5th of July and will last until the 28th of July from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Basbous illustrates through the exhibition the relationship between form and material, along with a selection of preparatory drawings and mixed media paintings that reveal his approach to sculpture.

Alfred Basbous believed that art prevailed over the years, and he did not stop showing during the Lebanese war. His work was never affected by the terrible deeds of war, but he always considered his work as the universal language of spreading hope and beauty in the consciousness of men.
