The General Administration of Civil Defense in Dubai launched the first electric fire extinguishing mechanism of its kind in the Middle East, and the second in the world.

According to Major General Expert Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defense, the electric firefighting vehicle is 20% faster than other specialized vehicles, 40% is characterized by high efficiency in carrying out tasks, and is equipped with an LED lighting system.
He added, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), that the control system is based on CAN-BUST technology, and the operating system is equipped with a 17-inch display in the cockpit.

The remote control system works by means of "telematic" technology, which enables it to constantly and directly contact the operating room and receive all the readings received from it.

The cockpit contains 6 seats with a twist feature to enable firefighters and rescuers to hold work crew meetings to develop appropriate plans for accident management.

Al-Matroushi pointed out that its firefighting system is called "Rosenbauer NH35" and includes a high-capacity pressure pump, in addition to a generator-powered pump, an operating panel for the pump at the rear of the car, and central and pneumatic water nozzles.

He added that the capacity of the water tank is 4000 liters, while the capacity of the foam tank is 400 liters, and the vehicle is characterized by the presence of 4 high-resolution cameras, a device to measure the level of water and foam in the tanks, in addition to that it can be charged electrically via a fast charger.

The battery is charged by 80% in 40 minutes, enabling it to perform tasks from 6 to 8 hours continuously, and it reaches a speed of 100 km per hour and deals with all types of fires.
