On January 2, 2021, Abu Dhabi will launch a "Parking and Ride" service, which is a service that enables vehicle owners to park their vehicles in certain places outside Abu Dhabi Island, to continue their journeys within the city of Abu Dhabi through public buses, and to move between different areas within the city on the bus network Free public.
 
The emirate will set up free parking facilities for private vehicles in a number of areas around the island of Abu Dhabi and stations for public bus services to start in those areas, which include Mohammed Bin Zayed City with 500 stops, and Al Shahama with 500 stops.
 
The service starts from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Saturday to Thursday, and a bus runs every 20 minutes from each area during peak times (from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and from 4:01 p.m.) Until 09:00 PM) and 60 minutes at normal times,
 
The service card must be obtained with a limit of 3 cards per vehicle, but they are not sold on the bus, and the fine for traveling in buses without the card issued under this service is 200 dirhams.
